We offer weekly lessons from September through the first week of June, based on the Sudbury Public Schools academic schedule. There are no lessons scheduled during school vacation weeks or other designated school days off, but lessons on these days may be arranged individually as requested subject to our availability.
Summer lessons are also available on a per-lesson basis on a super flexible schedule.

30 minutes: $52/lesson
45 minutes: $72/lesson
60 minutes: $92/lesson

ATTENDANCE AND BILLING POLICY (updated September 2025)
- We respectfully request that you not ask for special arrangements for attendance and billing that differ from the following established policy. Thank you!
- Your child will receive a lesson day and time that ideally remains the same all year.
- Lessons are assumed to occur on a weekly basis unless otherwise notified.
- There are no lessons scheduled during the school winter break, February or April vacation weeks. Weekend lessons may take one lesson off during school vacation weeks.
- There are 28 lessons billed from September – May. You will receive an invoice for the year each September (or in whichever month your child starts lessons with us).
- The total invoice is divided into 9 equal monthly payments (or fewer if student begins after September).
- Monthly payments are due by the 5th day of each month. If a student withdraws for any reason, there are no refunds for any remaining lessons in the calendar month of withdrawal. However, there is no further obligation. If at the time of withdrawal your child has had more lessons than have been paid for, a final invoice will be issued for the balance.
- The monthly payment remains the same regardless of the actual number of lessons that take place in a given month.
- Attendance is marked every week as either Attended, Excused Absence, Unexcused Absence, or Teacher Absence.
- Students are permitted three Excused Absences from September-May for any reason (illness, travel, sports, etc). Excused absences are not charged. After the excused absences have been used, additional missed lessons (Unexcused Absences) will be charged as if the lesson were attended.
- Makeup lessons from week to week are not permitted due to our extremely full schedules. We kindly ask that you not request makeup lessons for conflicts that arise on your end.
- No show/no call for a normally scheduled lesson will be charged as if lesson were attended.
- Please do NOT bring your child if he/she is not well. No fever within 24 hours without Tylenol/Ibuprofen, no vomiting, diarrhea, sore throats, new coughs. If your child did not attend school on the lesson, due to illness, they may not come to the house for a lesson that day.
- If you happen to complete all 28 lessons before May, please remember that the final May payment is still required. Additional lessons are encouraged, and are invoiced separately.
- In case of snow or other extreme weather event, lessons will be online via FaceTime, Zoom, etc.
- Any lesson we teachers must cancel due to conflicts is marked "Teacher Absence" and is not charged.
- If it is determined at the end of the year that due to multiple teacher absences we are not able to reach the 28 lessons by the end of lessons in June, we will refund the amount or make those lessons up over the summer.
